Sky Girls, an example of Mecha Mususme. I've never seen this show, but the little girl wearing a thong is enough to tell me, I don't wanna!

It was this which made me realise, its all Gundam Wings fault. There was a time when Mecha were piloted by real manly men. Men who could destroy an army of mechanized dinosaurs without batting an eye! And when these men were told they would have to pilot a Giant Robot, their answer would inevitably be, "Hell Yeah!"
Then Gundam Wing came around with its Hippie/emo pilots, whining about why they hated their life and it led to this. Mecha Musume.
Eva can be blamed too.

Actually, we should really blame eva, since alot of people creamed their pants for wussy-feely fucking pilots. They need to bring back men who wanna pilot mecha when their offered it without thinking about anything else except for the fact that their gonna kick some dino ass!
